	With the true vision of co-operation, the eminent personalities of Kulgaon-Badlapur, founded Adarsh Vidya Prasarak Sanstha in 1961. there is an educational institution having creditable record in the field, for more than four decades. We have established various educational faculties and we are nurturing them considering various needs of the community. Our campus is spread over fifteen acres of land, in the heart of the town, near Badlapur Railway Station. We are happy to introduce ourselves as the largest Educational Complex in Badlapur a suburb in Thane Dist. Near Kalyan, imparting education from K.G. to U.G. to around 12000 students both in English & Marathi Medium for the last 48 years. The toppers in H.S.C. Board & University have been frequently from this Adarsh Vidya Prasarak Sanstha’s Adarsh School or Adarsh College of Arts & Commerce. As expansion plan of Sanstha the college got established late in 1995. In the last 12 years the college has made its name and captured fame In the University of Mumbai. The College has proposed vertical expansion of Post Graduate and Ph.D Research Centre from Academic Year 2009. Our students have represented University at Republic Day Parade at New Delhi. We have been organizing regularly co-curricular activities for overall personality development of the students. The college has study centre of Y.C.M.O.U. Nasik, for Three year B.A. Degree Course and Diploma in Journalism. The college has already provided internet facility to the college students. The College intends to get accredited by NAAC at the earliest. ABOUT COLLEGE……… Adarsh College of Arts & Commerce has completed 13 years under abale guidance of the Management of the Adarsh Viya Prasarak Sanstha. We have independent college building Library, Gymkhana, Gymnasium & Internet facilities too. Our T.Y.B.A. & T.Y.B.Com results are improving year after year & we are taking hard efforts for further omprovement in results. To provide professional training to the students of surrounding areas we already started a new three year degree course namely B.Com. (Banking & Insurance) from June-2005 onwards. About B.Com. (Banking & Insurance) With liberalization of Indian Economy and opening of Banking Insurance sectors for private sector organizations, these sectors are growing at a rapid pace. This has created ample employment apportunities and further growth is also expected. However, due to increased competition, these organizations need to be managed professionally and therefore professionalism, In specialization has become the need to the time. In order to make our students more competitive and capable we have started B.Com. with Banking & Insurance from the academic year 2005-06. B.Com (Banking & Insurance) is a Three Year Degree Course and students securing not less than 45% marks (40% for Reserved category students) at H.S.C. Examination or at equivalent to H.S.C. examination at one and same sitting shall be eligible for admission. This Three Year Degree Course designed by the University of Mumbai covers a spectrum of subjects relating to fields of Banking Insurance.
