Extension Activities:-

        National Service Scheme:

We have Two NSS Units in which 150 student volunteers were enrolled in the Academic Year 2016-2017. In its attempt to imbibe Social and Community fervor among student volunteers, programs like Leadership Training Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Rallies etc were organized during the Academic Year 2016-17.

Highlights of programs organized by NSS Unit in 2016-2017:

·         Tree plantation was conducted at Dhoke – Dapivali on 1^st July 2016.

·         ‘Swachhata Rally’ was organized 9^th August 2016

·         Dr. B.S.Bidve, NSS Program co-coordinator, Mumbai University gave guidance in Orientation Program on 10^th August 2016.

·         15th August 2016 and 26^th January 2017 NSS volunteers actively participated in Community Flag Hoisting at 9 places in Badlapur.

·         Tree Plantation Program & Swachhata Abhiyan Rally was organized at Kanhor (adopted village) on 30^th  August, 2016

·         Lecture on ‘Awareness & Necessity of Organ Donation’ was organized on 1^st  September,2016

·         Blood Donation Camp & Thalassemia checkup camp was organized 20^th  September, 2016

·         On 24^th September 2016, on the occasion of NSS Day, a workshop on Conservation of Environment was organized. The students were given guidance to prepare the bags from newspaper and also training was given to stich the clothe bags.

·         N.S.S. Volunteers participated in the Rally on 25^th September 2016 organized by United Ex-Serviceman Association for creating awareness and showing protest to the terrorist attack on Uri Army Camp (J & K).

·         N.S.S. Residential Camp was organized from 20^th October to 26^th October 2016 at Kanhor village.

·         Rangoli Competition on HIV/AIDS & Environment Protection was organized.

·         A District level workshop on 'A Path towards Healthy Living' was organized on     10^th January 2017.

·         In Pulse Polio Immunization program NSS volunteers actively participated.

·         Three Surveys were conducted by NSS volunteers on

        1. HIV/AIDS                             

        2. Save Electricity

         3.Road Safety.
